Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Invisible Skin-Fusion Foundation Review, Swatches, FOTD, Price!
Guerlain is one of my favorite luxury makeup brands. Ever since I laid my eyes on the Guerlain Meteorite packaging, I knew I had to get it. So one fine day, I went to pick it up and ended up sampling some other products from Guerlain. I fell in love with the Guerlain Météorites Perles (primer) and the Guerlain Lingerie de Peau foundation. They were pricey so I ended up picking the Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Invisible Skin-Fusion foundation in addition to the Guerlain Meteorites blush. I have used this foundation for a long time so thought of reviewing it for all of you today!

Claim: Guerlain Lingerie de Peau is an intangible foundation which becomes one with the skin like a second sensual covering to make it more beautiful than ever. Its secret: the Bio-Fusion micro-mesh, an unprecedented combination of smoothing and shaping stretch fibres and natural linen and silk fibres in complete affinity with the skin. The foundation glides on like a silk stocking. The “little nothing” becomes everything… Sublimely transparent, the complexion becomes as soft and radiant as silk. The curves of the face are tightened and imperfections are erased.
The nine shades of the range are so skin-fusing and natural that they leave no visible colour on the face, simply a glowing, long-wearing tone that leaves the skin looking natural. It has an SPF 20 – PA+
Quantity: 30 ml
Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Foundation comes in a sleek glass bottle with black lid. The lid had the Guerlain logo printed on the top in Gold. It has a black pump dispenser. The packaging looks gorgeous and classy. It is not really travel-friendly beinga glass bottle, but it definitely hygienic and looks good on the vanity. This is a pricey foundation and I feel like packaging adds to the luxury feeling!
The Guerlain Inivisble Skin-Fusion foundation comes in a variety of shades and I was color matched to the shade 03 Beige Natural. The foundation is a thin runny consistency and it is really easy to apply with fingers of a brush. I usually like dotting it all over my face and then blending it with a brush. Check out how I apply my runny liquid foundations.
Guerlain Lingerie De Peau Foundation has a light to light-medium coverage and it sets to a satin finish. I really like how it looks on the skin! It does not enlarge pores and does not settle into fine lines. It does fit onto the skin like a dream and looks very natural. I have gotten a lot of compliments whenever I have worn this foundation.
It does not oxidize to a darker shade, a problem I have faced with a few foundations in the past. I like that it has SPF and PA contained in it. I like to protect my skin from the harsh rays of the sun so with a broad spectrum sunscreen underneath this foundation, and I am set!
This foundation lasts upto 7-8 hours on me with minimal fading. It looks gorgeous even after hours and photographs well, even in flash. The scent, though pleasant, is quite strong and totally unnecessary. There are plenty of silicones in the packaging so they counteract the alcohols contained in this foundation. So it is not heavy or even drying to the skin. If you are allergic to silicone or fragrance, then skip this foundation else it is an awesome (pricey) light to light-medium coverage, satin finish foundation!
It does not feel heavy like a foundation, I feel that it is lighter than many BB creams in the market. It did not break me out at all. I think this foundation will work really well for normal to oily skintones. I had a few issues with my dry skin peeking through in winter when I used this foundation, It works well for me in summer!
