Innisfree Olive Hydro Gel Mask Review!

Hi everyone, I am back with another face mask review. I have been using them every 2-3 days for the past 3 weeks and my skin is feeling so much calm. In fact I am feeling a lot more calm and relaxed too since I apply them to unwind at the end of the day. So today I am going to review an Innisfree mask  – Innisfree Olive Hydro Gel Mask. I have used the bleached and unbleached cotton mask sheets in the past but I am loving the Hydro gel masks slightly more. So here is the detailed review!

Directions:

1. After cleansing, use toner to refine skin texture.
2. Take out the mask from package and remove the transparent film.
3. Position the upper mask around the eye area and remove the white film and attach the skin.
4. Then place the lower mask around the mouth area and adhere to the skin.
5. Remove the sheet after 20 minutes and gently pat to allow the remaining formula to absorb into the skin.

Innisfree Olive Hydro Gel Mask comes in a white individual sachet with black and green accents. The packaging is pretty basic but very easy to use and of course travel with. All the important details are printed on the packaging itself in Korean and English.
The hydrogel mask sheet comes in two parts sandwiched between two layers of plastic sheets. The plastic sheets have to be removed before applying the mask on the face. Hydro gel masksheets have essence gel trapped in knit thread of the mask. The essence does not drip like the cotton masksheets. These masks also fit well to the face and get a good grip so as you can walk around or at least sit (something not possible with cotton masksheets!
I am not a huge fan of the scent of this hydro gel mask but it was moisturizing to the skin. And after 15-20 minutes of application, it felt like my skin had become a bit firm (not tight). These masksheets dry up considerably after use so there is not much essence left when I remove them from my face. With cotton masksheets, I usually use the leftover essence to moisturize my arms and neck.

Overall, I am once again impressed by the Innisfree skincare products. They do amazing mask sheets and I have loved Innisfree It’s Real Bija Mask Review and Innisfree Intensive Ampoule Mask Catechin recently. I would recommend the Olive Hydro gel mask to people above 25 years who would like to pamper their skin in addition of getting a bit of moisturizing and firming action.
