Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lip Liner – Review, Swatches
I have had the Etude House lip liners for about a year and I have used them extensively to line my lips before applying lipstick. And even though I have never talked about them, they have been indispensable! They comes in 5 shades and I have 4 of them. I was not planning on doing a review but while doing my makeup today I felt like I need to tell others about this product since lipliners can add to a look! So here is the review of the Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lip Liners:
Product: Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lip Liner
Claim: An auto-type creamy lip liner for long-lasting, glide-on precision. The silky texture prevents your lip liner smudging or fading and makes it easy to shape and define your lips.
Quantity: 0.2 g
Price: $ 2.60
Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lip Liner comes in 5 shades: AD#1, AD#2, AD#3, AD#4, AD#5.
AD#1 is a beautiful pink shade that is the perfect MLBB shade (at least for me).
AD#2 is a beautiful Taupe shade that works well with deep warm toned lipsticks. I loved applying it under n*ude lip gloss. It gave my lips a beautiful look
AD#3 is a n*de shade which is too light for people with pigmented lips. It would work well as a lip liner under all lip colors especially for lighter shades.
AD#4 is a brick red shade and looks good on medium skintones. I loved it and usually applied it under red lipstick.
AD#5 is a warm pink that is also a good MLBB shade for me. It is my favorite shade of all the ones I have.
I have the all the shades except AD#3 which is a beige shade. I did not pick up this shade since it was a bit too light for me and I felt like it would not work well for my pigmented lips. All the other shades have a good color payoff and would work well for various skintones!
Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lip Liners come in a smoky blue auto pencil form with color coded caps and bottoms. The color on the packaging is pretty close to the lip liner shade. So these are really easy to locate in a makeup bag. The cap closes tightly so you can easily carry these around.
The Etude House lip liners are really creamy and glide smoothly on the lips and set to a semi matte finish. These improve the staying power of lipsticks and can even be worn alone or under a lip gloss. Except for the lightest shade AD#3, all others have a good opacity and build well. AD#1 and AD#5 are my favorite shade being close to my lip color. They are also my most used from these Etude House Soft Touch Auto lipliners.
These lipliners last for upto 4 hours without any lipstick/lipgloss but with a lipstick they can last well for upto 6 hours. These do not stain the lips and are easy to remove with any cream, oil or water based remover. I did not feel any drying of the lips but since they have a satin finish, they begin looking a but dry on the lips after an hour or so. I would suggest using a clear gloss or lip balm to keep the lips moisturized!

Overall, Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lip liners are a good value for money. They can be used on their own or with a lipstick, lip gloss or lip stain. They are buildable and give an even satin finish when they set. The packaging despite being basic is still great. I would highly recommend these auto lipliners to everyone looking for rich, creamy, long lasting and well-pigmented lipliners in retractable packaging!
