Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner – Review

Maybelline do fantastic eyeliners and lipsticks. I have been really impressed with their eyeliners – Maybelline the Colossal Kajal Super Black, Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner in addition to many others. I also enjoy lipsticks from the various ranges – Maybelline Rebel Bouquet, Lip Polish, Color Sensational and so on. So I ordered the Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner online without any qualms. I have been using it for a while and since I enjoyed using it, I thought I would review it for you today!

Maybelline recently introduced the Hyper Glossy Electrics but despite that, I went for a shade I knew I would use a lot. Colorful eyeliners are my favorite but my crazy brain wants the colors to be wearable as well. And other than shades of Brown or Blue (and sometimes Turqouise) I rarely pick up other colors. For the Hyper Glossy Eyeliner as well, I ended up with the Navy Blue shade.
The packaging of the Maybelline New York Hyper Glossy Electric Eyeliners is still the same. They come in black triangular plastic packaging with color co-ordinated prints. The long brush head gives this packaging some length because the eyeliner, which is at the bottom takes less than one-third of the real estate. It is a twist-open packaging and it secures tightly so this is definitely spill-proof and hence, travel-friendly.
The eyeliner comes with a thin brush which makes it easy to draw thin and sharp lines. If you are into natural eyeliner look or thin sharp winged liner look, this is the perfect eyeliner for you. If you are into bold eyes look, a few strokes can add the desired thickness. Since this is a brush tip liner, it may be a challenge for people just stepping into the world of liquid liners.
The Maybelline HyperGlossy Eyeliner gives a glossy opaque finish in just one swipe. It dries fast and remains put for 7-8 hours. It is not water-proof as per my experience but it is definitely smudge proof. Any cream or oil based remover can be used to remove this eyeliner.

Overall I am super happy with the affordable price tag, glossy finish, opaque color payoff, and good lasting power of the Maybelline HyperGlossy Liquid Liner. I think it would great for everyone and it is perfect to add a bit of color and glamour to a simple makeup look. Highly recommend this eyeliner!
