Etude House Dear My Wish-Lips Talk – Review, Swatches

Hi everyone! It seems like I have been on a lipstick review spree recently. And it is obvious considering I am trying out new shades, brands and lipstick ranges these days. I recently reviewed the Colorbar Kiss Proof Lip Stain, Giordani Gold Jewel lipstick, Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick and Oriflame Giordani Gold Baroque Jewel Lipstick. I have been using these lipsticks for quite some time now and am ready with review. So here it is:

Etude House come up with cutest product names and packaging. More than a year ago they launched the Dear My Wish Lips talk lipstick range. It comes in 10 shades and is a part of the regular line. I have been feeling especially adventurous with my lipsticks so I picked two bold shades from the range – PK003 Secret Date Pink, RD302 Bold Runway Burgundy. The PK003 Secret Date Pink is a rich Raspberry pink shade while the RD302 Bold Runway Burgundy shade is a deep (vampy) burgundy shade.

The Etude House Dear My Wish Lips comes in a cute pink packaging with metallic pink bow at the centre. The shape and style of the packaging is so girly and delicate! The lipstick bullet stands out on my vanity amongst even high end lipsticks. I Adore this packaging even more than the Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips talk and the Princess Etoinette lipstick packaging. These lipsticks are creamy and had a glossy finish.
The Etude House Dear My Wish-lips talk lipsticks are super light weight and glide on the lips like a dream. The pink shade (PK003) works for me and I like to wear it as a statement shade. The Burgundy shade (RD302) is a bit too dark for me. It just does not look right on me. While the shade pink stays put for hours without feathering or bleeding, the burgundy shade travels outside my lip line within 30 minutes of application.
These lipsticks have a stain effect on the lips! The lipstick itself lasts for 3-4 hours and then leaves a gorgeous stain behind that would last for hours! I am not very happy about the RD302 shade but I LOVE the PK003 shade. I have no idea why, with the same formula and texture, the burgundy lipstick feathers out of the lipline.

I like the packaging, texture and finish of the Etude House Dear My Wish Lips talk PK003 shade (not RD302 though). I hope the other shades in this range perform the same the the PK003 Secret Date Pink shade! I would recommend the Wish Lips Talk lipstick to everyone who like creamy and glossy lipsticks. These are also affordable and come in the cutest packaging!
