One of my recent fashion posts, Stripes and Plus Size, has become really popular. I did for a cause I totally believe in, Stand Up Against Body Shaming. And I am so grateful for the response I received for my look as well as my work. I got a lot of compliments when I was wearing a similar makeup look the other day so I have decided to do a makeup breakdown post today. It is not very difficult to create and looks really flattering in my opinion. Without further ado, let’s get started!

Makeup breakdown:
- Start with a good quality eyeshadow primer. It will help create a smooth base for the eyeshadow and also make it last longer. (The Body Shop InstaBlur All in One Eye Primer + Concealer)
- Use a cream-ish matte/satin finish eyeshadow all over the eyelid up to the brow bone. It will help bring light to the eyes! Then add a taupe shade to the crease and blend it in the windshield wiper motion. Add a plum-y brown color to above the crease as the transition color. (Shades – Dune, Paper Bag, Maple from Sleek i-Divine Mineral Based Eye Shadow palette – Ultra Mattes V2)
- Use a shimmer-y n*de eyeliner to the inner corner of the eyes and also add it under the lower lashline to create the bambi eyes look. (Etude House Play101 Pencil #6)
- Apply a n*de eyeliner to the waterline to open up the eyes. (Misslyn Skin Corrector 3)
- Define the eyes using an intense black liquid liner. (L’Oreal Paris Super Liner Carbon Gloss)
- Curl your lashes and apply a generious coat of mascara to the top and bottom lashes. (Fairydrops the Platinum Waterproof mascara)
- Use a medium coverage BB cream to even out the skintone. (It’s Skin Prestige Creme D’escargot BB cream)
- Apply a high coverage concealer on under eye area and blemishes. (MAC Select Cover Up concealer – NW35)
- Set the concealer and BB cream using a translucent powder. (Missha The Style Fitting Wear Cashmere Powder – No.2 Natural Beige)
- Define your cheekbones using a contouring powder or matte bronzer. (Benefit Hoola Bronzer)
- Use a light pink or peach cream blush to add color to the cheeks. (Canmake Cream Cheek #13)
- Add some glow to high points of the face using a liquid highlighter (Etude House Golden Ratio Face Glam highlighter #2)
- Define your eyebrows and fill them in using a brown eyebrow pencil or powder. (Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper – Brown)
- Use a brown lip pencil to define the lips and fill them in (MAC Lip Pencil – Spice) and finish it up with a n*ude lip colour (Natio Lip Colour – Damasc)
