I went to The Body Shop store a couple of days ago and only picked up this Wild Rose Hand Cream. The Body Shop products are so expensive here in Seoul that I do not even walk in the store unless I have something specifically from the brand on my mind. Another reason may be that TBS products are way cheaper in India.
Now that I think about it, I used to see Sales in The Body Shop stores all across Stockholm (they call it Rea, cute isn’t it?). Even in India they have some products on sale every now and then but I have never seen a single thing on SALE here in South Korea. And if you have been reading this blog for any amount of time you know I love me some SALE. I’m always game for discounted prices!
Product Claim: This daily hand cream with rosehip oil provides much needed moisture to mature skin while helping to even out skin tone. Moisturizing Helps to even out skin tone.
Sadly this hand cream is meant for mature skin, a small printed box on the tube that I saw when I came back home. The cream also smells rosy, in fact too rosy for my sensibilities. I can say that even the scent will definitely suit mature women only. I am not a huge fan of rose scent anyway.
I noticed later on that I put the rose in the center of the photo while the hand cream that I am reviewing looks tiny and hidden compared to the rose. haha. Sometimes the best of ideas seem lame if not implemented properly. I am too lazy to click the pic again so yeah this is it.
Coming on to Hand cream, I think it is performs ‘ok’ on my hands and is as good as any other average hand cream. One thing I disliked is that the ‘Ingredients’ list filled up half of the backside of this tube. I have higher expectations from The Body Shop products especially since I love their bath products but I would not look at this hand cream again.
Rating – 2.5/5
Recommend – Tentative. If you can find something else at a cheaper price, go for it.
Repurchase – No. TBS itself has better products to choose from.
Apparently it is a bestseller. idk. I would not reconsider it in the future.
