While a large part of the world is celebrating fall – seeing the changing colors of nature and feeling the temperature drop – we in Delhi are still sweating. So I am still living in my spring and summer wardrobe. I want to pick up Wine and Burgundy shades to incorporate in my outfits but peaches, neons and corals seem more appropriate given the weather. Today I decided to wear my Promod Neon top. I picked it up not just for the warm summery shade but also for the scalloped edges.
Since the top is made from a sheer fabric, I decided to add some pattern underneath with my Zara polka dot tank top. I had picked it up during the Summer sale. I like how they look together. When I was planning this outfit (yes I planned my outfit, you can stop laughing now) I wanted to wear a structured trouser. But then I decided to add the effortless chic element with the boyfriend jeans!
My Jeans are the 312 Shaping Slim from the Levi’s new Denim collection for Fall/Winter 2015. This is my second pair of jeans from the new Levi’s collection and I love how different they both are from each other – 511 Super Skinny and 312 Shaping Slim.
I do not think the Levi’s 312 is marketed as boyfriend jeans but when I got mine altered in length, they looked a bit shorter and hanged above my ankle. Folding them and embracing the boyfriend jeans effect was the only option I had to make this work. But I am glad it all worked out!
I have been dying to wear statement necklaces now since I usually go for earrings so I decided to add a simple gold and pearl necklace from Westside stores. I also added a few peach-y coral bead and gold bracelets to add more glamour to the outfit. Keeping in mind the color scheme of my outfit, I wore my Coral Reflex wedges (that I had bought from Payless in Korea a long time ago). I had totally forgotten about them actually! Anyway.
I kept my makeup simple since I got a break out around my mouth area. But here also I applied a coral lip color to add to the outfit.

These days when look in my wardrobe, I have to search deep for colors there is so much black. I just try to think about why I have built such a huge collection of black outfits. Black on black, a pop of colour with all black outfit being my go to combination. When I was looking for a shrug to complete the look, I came across 4 different styles of shrugs all in black. Ha!
Anyhow, I liked how this look turned out and I really hope I keep up with this fashion blogging stint that I have started. I am having so much fun! What are you wearing today?
