Eyeliner is something I cannot live without; if I do not have much time to do makeup, I make sure I wear eyeliner. I believe eyeliner can make or break a look so it is not surprising that I try to get my hands on any eyeliner creating raves in the beauty industry. That is exactly how I came across the K-Palette 1-Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner in BA01 (black). Everyone was going gaga about them in Korea so I picked it up. I used it a lot until there was none left but I forgot to review it at the time. Today I was going through some photos from two months ago and found some photos of the product and my EOTD featuring this eyeliner. Since this is not a cheap eyeliner, I thought would put my two cents and tell you about my experience with the K-Palette 1-Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner!

Claim: K-Palette 24H Real Lasting Eyeliner is a quick-drying liquid eyeliner with special brush tip and high water resistant polymers. It gives you superb control for creating remarkable smudge-resistant effects. It’s a film type eyeliner. The water resistant coat polymer keeps fine eye-lines for 24 hours like a “1-Day Tattoo”

K-Palette 1-Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner comes in a pink pen form with cute prints. The brush is fine and ideal for everyday use to create fine or bold eyeliner. I like the precision it offers for creating winged eyeliner.
The eyeliner is glides easily on the eyes but it is not the blackest black available in the market. K-Palette is a Japanese brand and I have tried many other Japanese drugstore brands but this eyeliner is not as deep as I expected from the name (tattoo).
The lasting power of this eyeliner, which as per claims is 24 hours, is pretty average. Without fading, this eyeliner stays put for upto 5 hours. It does not smudge or set in fine lines, just vanishes! For days I was going out for longer duration, I always carried it for touch ups.
This eyeliner does not have any scent. The brush tip is flexible but sturdy so it can be used to create simple thin eyeliner look or a bold cat eye look. It just takes a bit of time to create the thick look (since the brush tip is fine).

Overall, I was left asking for more with the 1-day Tattoo eyeliner. I was expecting a kickas* deep black, long-lasting (upto 12 hours) eyeliner for the price I paid! I would not recommend it since there are better eyeliners out there that are easily available, cheaper, more pigmented and have a better lasting power like Maybelline The Colossal Liner. However, I am still excited about trying out more Japanese brands!
