CreerBeaute is a Japanese brand that I came across while browsing the Olive Young stores in Seoul, South Korea. I was actually planning on buying stuff from Majolica Majorca when I picked this mascara. The packaging and the name actually drew me in (plus there was a 1+2 offer, hehe) I did not get a chance to open this mascara since I was trying others in the past few months but in the second week of May, I opened the CreerBeaute La Rose de Versailles Mascara and have been using it ever since. Here is a review for you!
Product: CreerBeaute La Rose de Versailles Mascara – Black
Price: 18$
Creer Beaute La Rose de Versailles mascara comes in a black plastic tube with gold accents. Unlike most Japanese brand Mascaras, this one has applicator with bristles (most Japanese mascaras have plastic brushes). It contains some fibers that help lengthen the lashes.
I have been a lot into mascaras lately so it was trying out this one too. But I think for some reason I was expecting a lot more, probably because of the elegant packaging, and was left wanting for more.
This mascara does a decent job of adding length to the lashes and also makes the lashes appear thicker (decent volume); and it holds the curl for upto 8 hours but it is not spectacular in any of those areas. I mean, it is a good all-rounder mascara but not the one that will knock your socks off!
This formula of this CreerBeaute mascara is a bit wet in my opinion and takes a few moments to dry so I have to be really careful about blinking fast (which I do after applying mascara). Sometimes if I do not curl my lashes and apply this mascara to both upper and lower lashes, they tend to get tangled in each other or stuck to each other. I have seen this happen with wet formulas. If I do not apply mascara to my bottom lashes, then this does not happen. I know it is a weird thing to mention in a review but hey that’s my experience!

I enjoyed trying out a new mascara from a brand I have never tried. I had heard so many good things about mascaras and false lashes of Japanese brands from so many people that I just had to try some myself. I have tried the Majolica Majorca lash Expander Edge Meister in addition to this one so out of these two, I definitely like the former better. But overall this is mascara is a work horse, it gets the job done! It adds a bit of volume, builds a bit of length and holds the curl through the day! So it is definitely worth a try!
