Face mists were already a rage in Korea when I was there and there were variations of a facial mist in all of the Korean brands. As a person who suffers from dry skin, I never felt to need for adding it to my routine because I thought the alcohol in these mists will dry my skin further. But at last, I gave in when I saw a beautifully packaged Tony Moly Pocket Bunny mists. These come in two varities – Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Moist Mist (meant for dry skin) and Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist (meant for oily skin). I hardly got a use out of this mist in the colder months as I was afraid of making my skin dehydrated but in the Bangalore summer these days, I have been using it non-stop! Here’s the review 🙂
Product: Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Moist Mist
Claim: This multi-functional face mist instantly hydrates, sets makeup, and supports elasticity of dry, tired, or sensitive skin. Infused with fruit extracts to assist with increasing skin elasticity while moisturizing dry, tired, or sensitive skin, it’s infused with a blend of fruit extracts, including Aloe Vera, which helps to soothe irritated skin.
Quantity: 60 ml
Price: 12$
Ingredients: Water, Alcohol Denat., Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Glycereth-26, Dipropylene Glycol, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Methylparaben, Arginine, Fragrance, Carbomer, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Polyacrylate, Propylene Glycol, PVM/MA Copolymer, Propylparaben, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, Strawberry Fruit Extract, Peach Fruit Extract, Apple Fruit Extract, Kiwi Fruit Extract, Pineapple Fruit Extract, Grape Fruit Extract, Cranberry Fruit Extract, Raspberry Fruit Extract, Blueberry Fruit Extract, Blackberry Fruit Extract, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Isobutylparaben.
How to use Facial Mist:
- Keep the bottle approximately 20 cm away from face, close your eyes and lightly spray the mist all over the face.
- Move your hand slowly to cover the whole face evenly.
You can lightly tap the skin to let the mist absorb/evaporate faster or else let it be. That’s it!
I must first admit that I did not read any reviews or even take suggestions from the sales assistant at the Tony Moly store (in Myeongdong) when I picked up the Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Moist Mist. I had no idea it was meant for dry skin, I just picked it because I was tempted by the packaging 😉 I got lucky that out worked out for me.
The packaging is super cute and the bunny is adorable. The plastic spray bottle is babay pink in color and has a white bunny face with a pink bow (awww). The head comes off to reveal the spray. This packaging contains 60 ml of the product and is relatively big (maybe even bulky) for that amount of product. It can be easily carried in the handbag for touch ups through the day but I think a little more compact packaging would have been nicer.
The packaging is not the only selling point of this product as the facial mist contained is also wonderful. It is very fine and contains plenty of fruit extracts – Aloe Vera, Strawberry, Peach, Apple, Kiwi, Pineapple, Grape, Cranberry, Raspberry, Blueberry and Blackberry – to nourish the skin. I expected this to smell fruity – because of the fruit extracts – but it smells fresh, something like fresh laundry or clean cotton scent (which I really like). The mist does not feel heavy and works nicely on its own to prep up skin for makeup and even as a makeup setting spray!
The best thing about the packaging of the product is that the spray lid twists open so when you finish using up this mist, you can refill it with perfume or facial mist you make (I do plan on making one and sharing the DIY post on the blog soon)!

I enjoyed using this face mist and since a little spritz works well for one time, this will last me for months. One word of caution for people who are conscious about what they put on their skin is that this contains Denatured alcohol (not the best for skin), parabens and fragrance. The ingredient list contains things I love – fruit extracts – and things I like to stay away from so despite liking this product a lot, I will not repurchase it!

I liked the cute look of it… awww soo cutie Tony Moly…. ♡
I did see some of their products on Amazon . com (random surfing :p) and I loved the packaging. I wish Indian brands start taking inspiration from this for adorable looking beauty products
Definitely. Most Korean brands do so much to the packaging that people like me sometimes don’t even care what’s inside…it looks so pretty on the outside!
Oh and I’d love to see a diy post from you. I have liked most of them that you posted so far
Great Ritu! I will do it soon!

If Indian products had such great packaging, I would buy everything without reading..especially if they look this cute..I think its good that Indian brands have bad packaging.
