This is my third Hydrol Gel mask review this week and I do not see myself stopping here right now. I am on a roll with hydrogel masks and this is the second one I used from The Face Shop Vitamin mask sheets. There are three mask sheets in this range: Vitamin B (Star fruit extract), Vitamin C (Blood Orange extract) and Vitamin E (Cranberry extract). I bought all three of these masks and have tried the Vita B and Vita E already. So here is the review of the The Face Shop Hydro Gel Mask Sheet – Vita E (Cranberry extract) mask!

The Face Shop Hydro Gel mask comes in individual packs and the mask is cut in two parts, one to cover the cheeks, forehead and nose; and the other to fit under the nose and cover till the chin. Since hydro gel mask sheets are delicate, they are safely packed in two plastic sheets – one white and one clear plastic film. Most brands claim that the side on the clear plastic side works best to be applied to the skin.
I really like how well these The Face Shop hydro gel masks stick to the skin. Unlike other hydrogel masks I have tried from brands, The Face Shop masks have the mask soaked in gel but it is not runny. Most of the time (for masks from other brands), a lot of essence drips around while I open the uncover the mask. So I am glad that this contains a good amount of gel but does not drip as much. A Cons to this is that if you do not place it correctly the first time, it cannot be adjusted like a cotton mask sheet, you need to remove and place it again!
This mask contains Cranberry and Vitamin E extract in addition to Hyaluronic acid, Irish Moss, Agar and Algin. It also has added fragrance which, in my opinion, is a sweet fruity scent.
This mask is very cooling to the skin and hence very relaxing especially this time of the year. This mask, unlike The Face Shop Real Nature masks, is paraben-free.
I applied this face mask after cleansing and toning my face (following the instructions) before going to sleep. I applied it and then lay down on my bed for some relaxation. I kept it on for 20 minutes before patting my skin making the gel seep in. I also applied the gel from the mask to my hands and neck before discarding it before sleeping.
When I woke up in the morning, my skin felt smooth and supple.

The Face Shop Vita E Hydro gel mask sheet has a small and powerful ingredient lit with plenty of skin friendly ingredients. It is paraben-free and very cooling to the skin. I loved using this hydro gel mask as well and will be trying out (and reviewing) the Vita C mask from the same range soon. Stay tuned!
