Nature Republic Color Waltz – Rose Peach Nail paint

This is my first time trying red nails and so I decided to choose a soft red rather than bold scarlet. Red nail paints have always scared me off and I do not know the reason behind it since most of my friends who do not even pay much attention to nails use nail paint much more often than any other color.
To face my fear of red nails, I went out in search of a perfect red nail paint that would be red enough to not look orange or pink (colors that I am not scared of ) and soft enough to not give me shock everytime I look at my nails. So let’s see my journey to my red nails of the day!
The Face Shop, Nature Republic, Etude House and Missha were my chosen brands mainly because I like the formula of their nail paints and all of them are within a close vicinity in my favorite shopping areas – Seohyeon, Sinsa and Myeongdong.
I picked up this red from Nature Republic as it was peachy and perfect to combat the grey depressing weather here in Seoul.

Once I painted my nails, I looked at them for a few minutes to “get used” to them. This color looks coral in this photo but trust me this shade is more red than it seems! I am glad to share with you that I do not fear red nails anymore and may be hunting for a perfect scarlet shade soon! Do you fear red nails? What is your favorite NOTD?
