Today I am writing a review of another one of the products I received in my Memebox, which was my first ever Memebox. I had never heard of this brand but after using it, I so want to see other products from the brand. This one contains Jeju green tea seed extract and as I have already mentioned in my previous posts, anything from Jeju is my instant favorite. So Youngwoosa I Love You Oh Thank You Green Tea Seed Essence (that is a mouthful…since I am typing…handful?) is any good or not? Read on to find out!

I have tried many essence, ampoules during my stay in Korea so I do speak the language. Besides the RiRe eyeshadow pigments, this was the product I was most excited to try out from my Memebox. It is super expensive on its own (currently on Sale though) so I got a good deal. I rarely indulge in products/brands I know nothing about. So anyway.
The packaging of the product is pretty basic and I like the classy clear frosted glass bottle. It comes with a dropper which makes it super hygienic and convenient to use. Being a glass bottle, this is not travel friendly but is super handy and cute for everyday use. The essence is very thin, has the consistency of water and is a little cloudy (color-wise).
This essence has a very mild fresh scent (almost none) but feels so refreshing when applied. It is calming to the skin and is not very heavy. I reckon this will work wonderfully for younger adults or people with oily, sensitive and normal skintypes. However, for my dry skin during this time of the year, I need a little extra!
I have been using this essence for almost 9 days and that is not a big time frame to judge the anti-ageing/anti-wrinkle properties but this is a wonderful product for everyday use. I have been using this twice a day and my skin has been calmer and this somehow soothes me. It is so gentle. It is the best product I have tried in the past few weeks!
My rating is based on my experience with the product. I would have given it 5/5 but I cannot find the complete ingredient list so I am deducting the points. I love this essence even though I do not plan on repurchasing since this is a bit expensive to buy on its own and I also have a couple more to test out.
In terms of usage, it is advised to use 3-4 drops at a time and massaged into the skin but I apply it with a thin cotton pad, by dropping almost 6 drops on the pad and slowly patting on my face.
Rating: 4.5/5

How I wish I had gotten this a few years ago when I was starting to take care of skin, my skin would not have dried out so much. I love Korean skin care products, they have some of the best facial essence and other skincare products. I love the masks too. I am definitely going to dig up more information about this brand, Youngwoosa, and their other products!
Do you like using essence/ampoule in skincare? Have you tried the Youngwoosa Green Tea Seed Essence?
