Review: Nature's Essence Purifying Neem & Aloe Vera Moisturizing Lotion

Hi everyone! I am here to review another one of the Nature’e Essence products I got in my Neem & Aloe Vera Travel kit, the Nature’s Essence Purifying Neem & Aloe Vera Moisturizing Lotion. I have already reviewed the face wash and shampoo here and here. Let’s jump to the review now!

The Nature’s Essence Purifying Neem & Aloe Vera Moisturizing lotion comes in a clear plastic squeeze tube with green flip-top lid. It is slightly green in colour and smells like Honey or something sweet like that. I am not a huge fan of the smell, neither do I particularly care about the simple packaging which I also do not consider very travel-friendly. I, however, expected this to be a good moisturizer.
The ingredients of this product, like the face wash and shampoo, are not mentioned on the tube, website or anywhere on the net (or at least I failed to find it) which makes me question the “natural” label of the product. Moving on…
I think this is a fast-absorbing light moisturizer that might work well for oily and sensitive skin but it did not do much for my dry skin. I did use this during the warmer months so it worked fine but then it is nothing to write home about either! I sort of finished it by using it as my hand and foot cream!
I would have appreciated a little bit more moisturizing properties and get a full list of the ingredients. In dearth of both, I am sort of writing this off.

If I have to number the products from my travel kit, I would rate it – Neem & Aloe Vera Face Wash, Moisturizing Lotion, Shampoo. Out of all these three, I will only consider repurchasing the face wash (at this point in time). I expect more from Indian brands especially that label their products Ayurvedic, Natural, Aromatherapy or nature based! I would still like to try other products from Nature’s Essence.
