If anyone had told me that I would buy a cosmetic product originally developed for cows at some point in my life, I would have stared at them and probably walked away. But my elbows and heels got so dry last year in winter, I was willing to try anything especially when my undisputed favorite coconut oil could not rescue me. I saw this in the Olive Young store and skeptically it picked up. I was so conscious during billing since it said “Udder cream” and had cow print all over it. Of course I have decided to take it in good humor NOW but when you have not heard of the brand and cannot read “body cream” (all English writing was covered under a big sticker in Korean) anywhere on the packaging, it is bound to make you wonder what you are actually buying! Anyway. I used this for the last few weeks of previous winter and kept a little bit for this time of the year and am ready to review it!

Review:
The Udderly Smooth Udder cream comes in a white plasic jar with white twist open lid which has cow prints all over it. The packaging is pretty basic. I got the big jar else the Udderly Smooth Udder cream comes in smaller travel-friendly packaging as well (check on their website).
It has a thick consistency like a body cream but glides on the skin like butter and is easy to apply. I also do not mind the scent which is neither fruity, floral or anything, but more like a herbal medicine (or something). That’s the best way I can describe it;)

I like the rich but non-greasy texture of this body cream. It does not take long to absorb in the skin and also stays for a few hours before disappearing. I am glad I do not have to worry about staining with this body cream which can usually be a problem in winters for some rich moisturizing products.
I would have appreciated a better scent since this product does have added fragrance. I am also not too keen on Parabens and Mineral oil being in the ingredient list.

This body cream is not my absolute favorite but I am happy that it gets the job done. It is moisturizing and stays for a long time which is great for people with dry skin. I also find the smooth consistency soothing to apply for some reason. I would definitely like to keep this for the days I deal with extreme dryness!
