Etude House Princess Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips lipsticks are 8 limited edition lipstick shades released in the winter of 2012 (3 new shades launched in 2013) with the Etude House Princess Etoinette Holiday Collection 2012. Read my review of the PRD302 (Sip of Wine) lipstick (released in winter 2013)
I got this shade just because I wanted to get the pink and rose gold packaging of the Princess Etoinette lipstick since the latest collection came in white and silver. Another reason was that I wanted to compare the red shades – PRD 301 and PRD 302 released in 2012 and 2013 respectively (comparison post coming up next).
The Etude House Princess Etoinette collection released in 2012 had 8 shades but the ones (3 shades) released in 2013 are more shimmery and visibly a couple of shade darker than their counterparts.
PRD301 Fragrant Rose garden is a cool-toned red which looks more coral in the packaging and applied a bit sheer on the lips. I like the shade but it does not show up on my lips unless I use a concealer to hide the color of my lips or use a lipliner to help PRD301 show better.
I am in love with the packaging (like everyone else). This whole collection features products in pink with rose gold accents and the details on the lipstick around the E mark are gorgeous!
The lipsticks are not long-lasting (not that they claim to be), are quite light-weight, do not feather out and glide on the lips easily. The lipsticks from the 2013 collection are shimmery while these have a creamy finish.

I like the Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-talk lipsticks more than the Princess Etoinette crystal shine lipsticks and the former are cheaper (8500 KRW) and have a better color payoff and shade selection! Buy the Etude House Princess Etoinette Crystal Shine lips lipsticks for the ‘princess’ packaging, everything else (and more) is also in their Dear my blooming lips-talk lipsticks too (which are not limited-edition)!
