I have been using Oriflame cosmetics since 2011 only and while some have become my favorites. some are complete duds. I had heard so many good things about their products (from consultants!) that I expected their products to be really really really good! It’s a shame I never tried their products when I was actually in Sweden! Anyway, this primer launched in 2012 and I got it a few months ago. I do not use primers a lot since I do not wear foundation regularly but just for experimental purposes I tried this one and here is what I think about it!

Product: Oriflame Beauty Perfecting Face Primer
Claim: Morning-fresh make up all day long! Light diffusing properties and emollients give your skin silky softness and an even complexion, whilst mattifying properties mean easier, more comfortable make-up application. The result is the perfect base for your make-up and a wonderfully radiant finish.
Quantity: 30 ml
The first thing I should mention is that the packaging is really simple black and white. I do think it is better to have makeup products like this in Squeeze tube or pump form since that is way hygienic to use. But they could have done something with the packaging, it is too boring for me!
After applying this, I noticed a moisturization of the skin which I totally did not expect since most primers are more about minimizing the appearance of pores, evening out skin-tone and make makeup last long. It gave a dewy finish to my skin which I must I did not mind but I noticed no apparent longevity of my face makeup after using this. What a bummer!
It does not smell like anything and the texture is more creamy than most primers I have tested in the past.

If you have oily skin, you can completely ignore this and look for other options. If you have normal to dry skin and want a moisturizing primer that gives a dewy finish, go for this one but if you have an oily T Zone, apply a finishing powder to keep it oil-free!
