I am going to graduate in the subject of Korean face masksheets this year I think! I have been testing (using!) Etude House, Missha, Holika Holika, Skinfood, My Beauty Diary, Barbie, Mamonde, Dr. Jart+ masksheets. I already hold a PhD in The Face Shop mask sheets LOL so I thought of including another specialization to me degree – Innisfree face masks!
And of course for the cheapskate that I am, I got the most afforable masks from the brand – The It’s Real masksheets. These come in many different forms and I have got the Bija, Gold Kiwi and Shea butter masks. I started with the Gold Kiwi mask.
The first thing I noticed after opening the pack is that the mask sheet was very thin and translucent (unlike the white thick The Face Shop masks) and it smelled like Pineapple. I have tasted Gold Kiwi but I do not remember it smelling very strong. And this one had a sweet Pineapple smell like that of a juice. I liked it though!
And the mask sheet was quite cool (even though it was stored at room temperature). And it had patches for eyes. Missha Pure Source face masks also come with this patch and I really like the idea because this way, I do not have to apply an eye cream before applying the mask.
The mask is paraben-free and contains a variety of plant nutrients which make it really good for the skin. It does contain added fragrance but I do not mind this smell at all. I love it (probably saying it the 3rd time!)
I like to study the ingredients before writing a review but this mask had all the information in Korea. But judging from the Bija mask (which had the ingredient list in English), it contains some of the following plant extracts.
Plant extracts: Lilium Candidum (Madonna Lily) Flower water, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) flower water, Torreya Nucifera (Japanese nutmeg-yew) Seed Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit extract, Citrus Unshiu (Japanese Mandarin) Peel extract, Camellia Sinensis (Tea)leaf extract, Opuntia Coccinellifera (Prickly Pear/Cactus) Fruit extract, Camellia Japonica Leaf extract (Japanese Camellia), Orchid extract
Innisfree products are eco-friendly, good for the skin and contain plenty of plant extracts! I am a new fan of this brand and now I know why there are so many devoted followers of the brand!

The Innisfree It’s Real Gold Kiwi mask is my new favorite face masksheet and I would recommend it for its moisturizing properties, plenty of plant extracts, cooling effect and the sweet smelling essence!
