I have been blogging for a year and I was thinking about improving my blogging skills and also increasing my reach. I recently came across the Zero to Hero 30-Day Blogging Challenge on WordPress Dailypost and I think it a good fit for what I am looking for. I will be doing all of the 30 challenges while also keeping up with my usual blogging routine of doing beauty posts daily.

The first task is to Introduce myself and also share my motive behind this blog. So let’s get started!
Who Am I?
I am Ritu KT and I am a beauty blogger. I have been blogging for a year now and I run two blogs – Shopping Escapades (beauty blog) and Things To Rave About (lifestyle blog).
I love reading books and my usual choice is chicklit after inspirational books. I have been known for my obsession with beauty related things all my life. And I have been a lot into makeup since 2010.
My favorite brands are: Chanel, YSL, Etude House, Missha, Maybelline and The Body Shop.
Why am I here?
I made a lot of Faux Pas in the past and now that I look back at it, I know it would have been nice to have some for advice. I also colored my hair at home (the sob story can be found here and here) which damaged my hair a lot. I am still recovering.
I also wanted to talk about makeup and beauty stuff since none of my friends share the same interest. I think a lot of other people around the world are also looking for people with similar interests to connect with on the internet.
And since I have been very adventurous with makeup and beauty, I have some really good experiences to share with others. People can learn from my mistakes and lessons.
I plan on being a full-time blogger and I want to talk about makeup and beauty throughout my life. And what better way to do it than have it as my profession!
