Etude House has released another new limited edition makeup line in 2013! I was wondering if the Princess Etoinette collection was the last but no, the Etude House Play Color Eyes Eyeshadow is now available in stores in Korea. There are two 10-color eyeshadow palettes in this, Play Color Eyes, collection – #1 So Hot Play and #2 So Chic Play. I bought both of the eyeshadow palettes this weekend. So let’s look into the Etude House Play Color Eyes Eyeshadow palettes!
I actually never got a chance to see the Rose palettes released this year so when I saw these palettes, I knew I wanted them. I was planning to try out only one but seeing the variety of shades in the palettes, got them both!

My friend, who is also a makeup and beauty fanatic like me, told me about these early last week. The Play Color Eyes palette were not available in 3 of the stores we checked so we figured these were just available online. But when I popped into Etude House on Sunday evening (yup, I am a regular!) and found them there, my wallet just got lighter by 44000KRW ( the cost is 22000 KRW each).
So let me show the swatches and the colors.

I received a gift with this purchase – holiday gift bag – which is a beautiful baby pink bag. I received a Pomegranate sheetmask and a Hello Raspberry & Cranberry Body Wash as freebies!
I really like the jewel-toned sparkly shades as I do not have any in my makeup collection. I really like how different both of these are from each other and I am happy with the color payoff (as you can judge from the swatches). I plan to do a few makeup looks before giving a final verdict.
A problem that I faced with both of my palettes is that a couple of shades are not glued well to the palette base. I will have to glue them! This may be just the case with my palette but if you can, check out your palette before buying.
