Hello everyone, welcome to what is sort of turning into an Etude House shopping week here at Shopping Escapades(3 in one week, what????). It all started with an innocent just-going-to-take-a-look-around trip to Etude House. And now I have so many new things from Etude House! The best thing is that I saved quite a lot of money on these as I made use of the 50% and 30% off discounts.
Etude House Shopping Haul:
- Shea Butter Nutrifull Essentializer
- Baking Powder Cleansing Foam Moist
- Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam (2)
- Samples: Milk Talk Chocolate Bath Milk, Precious Mineral BB cream – 2, Goback total solution
I had not tried Etude House Baking Powder Cleansing Foam(s) despite it being the most popular amongst foreigners and one of their bestsellers. So I bought the Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam in a 1+1 offer on one day and the Baking Powder Cleansing Foam Moist at 50% off alongwith the Shea Butter nutrifull essentializer the next.
One of my closest friends in Korea has oily skin and she was using Baking Powder Pore Cleansing foam (the blue one) and she gave rave reviews. So I wanted to try it out but since I have dry skin, I decided to give one to my nephew (teenager) and my husband who both have oily skin. I will try it a few times so that I can review it (phew! The responsibilities of a beauty blogger! haha)
So the next day I bought the Baking Powder Cleansing Foam Moist which is better suited for normal and dry skin. I was more than happy to grab one at 50% off. I am using it for the past couple of days and loving it! I will wait for a week or more before writing a review.
And then I bought something I had been eyeing for so many days – Shea Butter Nutrifull Essentializer. I have used the Shea Butter sleeping pack and did not like it much. It wasn’t anything special so I was interested in trying something else from the line. They have sleeping pack, night cream, day cream, eye cream and a cleanser (not sure about cleanser though). Since I have dry skin, I decided to buy the Essentializer to wear under my BB cream or on its own during the day.
As the weather is falling below zero degrees, my skin is getting dry and flaky. I need something extra moisturizing. I am yet to open it but I have high hopes. It sounds good so I hope it works just as well! It comes in a pump form so I have already allotted a +1 to it! Stay tuned for individual reviews for all of these products.
Have you tried Etude House products? What are your thoughts about Korean beauty products in general?
