Inveda Sun Screen Cream Gel Review

I started using this sunscreen last year itself when I received in my FabBag. I then moved on to another sunscreen and totally forgot about it, even forgot to share my review (oops). When I was going through my stash again last month, I came across it and decided to give it a go. So here is the detailed review for you!

Inveda Sun Screen Cream gel comes in a plastic tube with gold twist-open lid. The tube is colourful and eye-catching because of the orange-brown colour combination and contains all the details about the product printed on it. The packaging is quite sturdy and I have travelled with it a few times to know that it does not spill. Considering the price, this drugstore sunscreen is well packaged. The scent is a bit herbal I think and does not linger for long.
Let us move on to the most important part of the review, the texture and performance of this skincare product. The texture, supposed to be cream + gel, is quite heavy. I can compare it to a face cream for dry skin instead of a gel-based sunscreen. It is more of a cream that feel a bit heavy as well.
I have dry skin so I cannot really complain about it even though I have to admit that it does make my skin a bit “oily” too. It worked better in the cooler months (yes, we are supposed to use sunscreen in winter too) than in the summer. I do not think people with oily skin should even go near this sunscreen.
Because of the heavy texture, I feel like the skin also looks a bit dewy for a while. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea.
Rating: 3/5
Recommend: Maybe (to people with dry skin)
Repurchase: No
If are one of those people “blessed” with dry skin and want to try out a new sunscreen that is also easy on the pocket, go for the Inveda Sun Screen Cream gel. Others can safely ignore this product since it may be a bit too heavy for their skin especially in summer/monsoon. This sunscreen cream gel did work for me but I am still not impressed enough to repurchase it.
