Sometimes, I have so many things to try out that I get overwhelmed and keep a few for later use. Unfortunately, I tend to forget where I keep these products and end up finding them months after I received them. Anyhow, this happened with the Exfoliator I am going to review today. It came in Fab Bag almost a year ago. I found it recently and have been using it ever since. Here is the detailed review!

Ingredients: Gram Flour, Rice Flour, Lentils, Turmeric, Sandalwood Powder, Filler’s Earth (Multani Mitti)
Neemli Naturals Bengal Gram Exfoliator comes in a small 50 g sachet. The sachet is further packed in a clear plastic bag that makes it safe for travel and use. The sachet has a zip-lock style closure that you can close to keep it safe for future use. This powder scrub has a slightly woody scent that is barely noticeable.

The texture is quite smooth and the powder turns into a fine paste when I apply it in the shower. I did not have enough time to use it as a body wrap even though I think it is totally feasible to use it that way. Gram flour-based products are better suited for oily skin, this scrub worked well for my dry skin too. My skin did not feel dry after using this scrub. I may not use this in winter though when my skin is super sensitive and dry.
I think I got roughly 8 uses out of this pack which means each use cost me about 50 INR each. For the simple ingredient list, it seems a bit much even though I do appreciate how easy to use it is. I think with slight trial and error, I can create my own body scrub like this at home at a fraction of the cost of the product.

Despite the fact that this body scrub/wrap worked well for me, I think the price tag is too high for me to repurchase it. Being made out of simple ingredients, there is no reason why I cannot prepare my own concoction at home. This body scrub/ wrap can be used by people of all skin types.
