SaND for Soapaholics Bathing Soap REVIEW, Price in India
If you have been a fan of LUSH cosmetics (and miss using their products ever since their exit from India more than a couple of years ago), you must have heard of an Indian brand selling natural and handmade soaps. I am talking about SaND for Soapaholics. It is the brand that I heard a lot about but never put in the effort to try their products for myself. The April FabBag brought me a nice sample of the SaND for Soapaholics Monkey Bar bathing soap. I have been trying it out so thought of sharing a review with all of you.
Product: SaND for Soapaholics Monkey Bar Bathing Soap
Price: 325 INR
Quantity: 100 g (also available in 200 g and 500 g bars)
Ingredients: Banana Fruit, Oatmeal, Vegetable Glycerine, Sodium Sauryl Sulphate, Coconut Endosperm Oil, Pepper Fruit Essential Oil, Colour
The packaging for the SaND for Soapaholics Monkey Bar Bathing Soap is pretty basic. I received the sample from FabBag in a plastic container with a few basic details such as the ingredients, name, etc. of the product printed on top. I checked online and I think this pretty much their standard packaging.
The soap itself has 2 brown translucent swirls and a beige base with oatmeal scrub granules. The brown swirls took a couple of showers to be completely visible. The sweet banana scent is not my favorite but if you like that kind of a scent, the soap might please you more.
I like using this soap since I like to lightly scrub my body in summer. I am glad that the scent does not linger for long and that the scrub granules are gentle to my skin. My skin feels soft after the shower so I usually do not moisturize my body post-shower. I really enjoyed using this soap. I am about to run out and I might try out a new soap from them. I am eyeing the Heavenly Dew soap right now!
If you want to buy a SaND for Soapaholics soap, you can get a 50g, 100g, 200g or a 500g variant from their website. They make bath, skin and hair products. All of their products are natural and handmade!

I used to love trying out products from LUSH and it is only fair that we have an Indian brand to fill the gap and deliver us high-quality products. I am not a huge fan of the banana scent, however, I love the soap for its gentle scrubbing and moisturising properties. I would recommend this soap to everyone who wants to exfoliate in the shower.
