L'Oreal Color Riche Gold Obsession Lipsticks Swatches! (+Video)

L’Oreal Color Riche Gold Obsession Lipsticks – All Swatches, Price in India!

Hi everyone, recently I talked about the L’Oreal Color Riche Gold Obsession collection. There are 7 lipsticks released in this range and all of them have a nice smooth texture. The color payoff is also pretty good. When I first saw these lipsticks, I felt like these were in the  L’Oreal Moist Matte lipstick formula, however, they belong to the Color Riche range which is one of the relatively older L’Oreal lipsticks. I think the Moist Matte range was released 3-4 years ago.

Moving on to the swatches:
Here’s what L’Oreal Paris has to say about this collection:

Presenting the Gold Obsession by Color Riche. Indulge in 7 glamourous shades enriched with intense pigments and a touch of pure gold. It’s trendy. It’s Bold. It’s Gold.

Since the natural is not great these days, the photos are not showing the true colors of the lipsticks. The lipstick shades are slightly cooler in appearance than they appear in the photos.

Here is a list of the all the lipsticks in the L’Oreal Gold Obsession by Color Riche collection:

R601 Rouge Gold: It is a red shade with gold shimmer specs that make it appear more orange when applied to the the lips. The shimmer specs can be felt on the lips too. This is Aishwarya’s shade
RB602 Scarlet Gold: It is the second red shade in the Gold Obsession lipstick range. It appears similar to the Rouge Gold shade in the packaging but looks quite different since it has less shimmer than the ROuge Gold shade. It is th kind of red that would work for many skintones. It is my second favorite in the Color Riche Gold Obsession lipstick range.
P601 Rose Gold: It is a medium cool-toned pink shade perfect for everyday wear especially for medium skin-toned people. It is my favorite shade from this range.
PM601 GL’s Plum Gold: It is nice plum shade that is the second cool toned shade in this collection. I do not think it would work on many skintones. The shimmer specs make it look slightly lighter on the lips than it appears in the tube.
M601 Mocha Gold: It is a dark brown-ish shade that looks more brown than I would prefer. It is the darkest shade in this range.
C601 Coral Gold: It is a medium coral-orange shade. It is not as opaque as the other shades and may only work for light skintones.
G101 Le Gold: The Gold shade is a true gold which has shimmer specs. It can be worn as a top coat over lipsticks to add a metallic shine to the lips. I have worn it on its own in the video 😉

All of these lipsticks have a creamy finish and contain shimmer specs. Matte lipsticks ruled for the past couple of years but this year it looks like metallic shades are going to be all the rage.

I totally love the first five shades on the left (in swatches). They would look great on all of the Indian skintones. I am not too sure about the coral shade since it is a bit cool-toned and may only work for light skin tones. The shade may also not be enough to hide (dark) pigmented lips. The gold may look great on these shades but I am yet to try it out.
