VLCC Wild Turmeric Face Wash – Review, Ingredients, Price in India!
Hi everyone, today I am going to review a face wash that I have been using since June. While leaving for my Kashmir trip, I got the VLCC Wild Turmeric face wash in a hurry. I was using another face wash at the time but the packaging was not travel-friendly so I ended up picking this one from a pharmacy near me. I am about to run out of it so thought of reviewing it for you!
Product: VLCC Wild Turmeric Face Wash
Price: 140 INR
Quantity: 80 ml
Claim: This natural cleanser with pure honey and turmeric has rich anti-septic properties that protect your skin from the daily exposure to the harsh environment. It removes microbes and pollutants from the innermost pores leaving the skin refreshed and tingling. It is suitable for all skin types.
Ingredients: Soap Nut extract, Wild Turmeric extract, Honey, Euphorbia extract, White Murdoch, Cleanser base, q.s.
The VLCC Wild Turmeric face wash comes in a clear plastic squeeze tube with a white twist-open cap that also has a flip-top opening. The flip cap is quite tight and may be a bit difficult to open with wet hands. The face wash has an amber tint to it and has a gel-like consistency. It has a citrus scent that makes it very refreshing to smell. It works like a great pick-me-up at the end of a tiring day.
This facial wash lathers up really well and only a little amount is sufficient for the whole face. It smells really nice and washes off all the dirt from the face. My skin is less dry until October so I was a bit surprised to feel dryness on my face when I washed it with this facial cleanser.
My skin felt clean but dry and I am glad that I did not pick this up in winter. My face would have developed cracks or something. JK! Turmeric is a great antiseptic and brightening agent for the skin, however, I did not notice anything of the sort over the course of 3 months that I consistently used this facial cleanser at night (I used a different face cleanser in the morning).

I have tried many VLCC skincare products before and I honestly prefer their manicure, pedicure, bleach and facial kits over this face wash. I did enjoy using their Rose Water toner a lot, though. I am still interested in trying out more from the indigenous brand. Nothing compares with my favourite The Body Shop Aloe Gentle Facial Wash. I recommend this VLCC face wash for people with oily skin looking for an affordable face wash for everyday use.
