Hi everyone, I had a resolution of finding my signature makeup look this year. I have always been more inclined towards eye makeup as I always like highlighting my eyes using makeup. But for the past few days I had been keeping tabs on the makeup looks I go for usually and I found out that I liked the Fresh face look far more than bold liner or smoky eyes. Anyway, I am yet to reach a definite point to find my signature look but I have been using 10 makeup products frequently to do my makeup on a daily basis. So here are my 10 must have makeup products in no particular order!

1. Concealer: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Flawless Wear concealer
Concealers are God sent makeup products for us. I have few blemishes here and there on the skin, I still need concealer to cover my deep under eye circles. And I believe that even an average foundation can perform well with the help of a good medium coverage concealer. My current favorite is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-place Flawless Wear concealer. Another one I enjoyed using was Benefit Erase Paste and Shiseido Spot Cover foundation.
2. BB cream: Ponds White Beauty BB+ All in One BB cream
I love the look of beautiful skin and since no is blessed with perfect skin, a little help can do wonders. Foundations can be too heavy for the skin so medium coverage BB creams are perfect for the job. I first tried BB creams in Korea and have not really stopped ever since. Some of my favorite BB creams are: Etude House Blooming Fit BB cream, Skin 79 BB cream, Garnier BB cream and Ponds White Beauty BB+ All in One BB cream
3. Liquid Liner: L’Oreal Paris Super Liner Carbon Gloss
When I used to watch other beauty bloggers on YouTube, many of them said black is too harsh as an eyeliner. I never agreed with them because for us, people with dark eyes and hair, black is just perfect. Deep brown is good too but black is A Ok! Liquid black eyeliner is also the makeup product I first started using when I got into makeup. I have had many favorite over the years some of them are: L’Oreal Paris Super Liner Carbon Gloss, Maybelline the Colossal Liner, Missha S*xy Black Eyeliner, Clio Professional Kill Black Waterproof liner.
4. Eye pencil: Oriflame The One High Impact Eye Pencil – Deep Plum
As I mentioned above, I love eyeliner, however for my waterline, I like using colorful or metallic pencil eyeliners like Teal, Plum, blue etc. I have enjoyed using the Oriflame The One High Impact Eye Pencil – Deep Plum, Maybelline Colossal Kajal Turquoise, The Face Shop Make Me Star Gel liners etc. Currently the Deep Plum from Oriflame has been go to for my waterline. It is deep enough to define my eyes but still brings some color to the makeup.
5. Eyebrow Pencil: The Face Shop Design My Eyebrow pencil
A couple years ago, if you would have told me that I would start using eyebrow definers I would have not believed you. But after finding out how much of a difference that one step in makeup can make, I always use a brow pencil or powder to define my eyebrows. I have two favorite right now – The Face Shop Design My Eyebrow pencil -3 and Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper – Brown.
6. Highlighter: YSL Touche Eclat
I am obsessed with highlighters! Pen highlighters are the best ones and YSL Touche Eclat is very popular. This is the kind of highlighter that would work for anyone. It imparts a beautiful glow to the skin but does not look shimmery or glittery at all. There is a couple of other highlighters than I am loving these days – The Body Shop Shimmer Waves – Blush and Etude House Golden Ratio Face Glam #2 Pink.
7. Lip Gloss: Oriflame The One Color Unlimited Lip gloss – True Blush
I must be honest, I love lipsticks more than lip glosses, I ALWAYS have. But something about neutral glosses makes the lips look fuller and the whole makeup look appear more glamorous. I have been using the Oriflame the One Color Unlimited Lip Gloss – True Blush and Lakme Absolute Plump & Shine 3D gloss – Beige Shine a lot these days.
8. Mascara: FairyDrops Platinum Waterproof Mascara
Besides eyeliner, mascara is my second favorite makeup product these days and I prefer the lengthening ones. I had heard great things about the mascaras from Fairydrops, a Japanese brand, and I am loving their mascaras. Some of my other favorite mascaras are: Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara, Etude House Lash Perm Eye-long mascara, Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Edge Meister and Etude House Lash Perm 3 Step Volumcara
9. Cream Blush: Canmake Cream Cheek #13
Cream blushes are perfect to impart a hint of color to the cheeks. They look natural on the skin. I love using my stippling brush to apply cream blushes. Currently I have been using my Canmake Cream Cheek blushes a lot. I do not have a big list of favorites in this line yet!
10. Face Mist: The Face Shop Color Control Aura CC Mist Fixer
Technically not a makeup product, but a face mist does wonders to the skin as well as makeup. There are plenty of makeup setting sprays, refreshing sprays and moisturizing sprays out there. Some are multi-purpose like this The Face Shop Color Control Aura CC Mist Fixer. It helps set the makeup and make it last long while also imparting a hint of healthy glow to the skin. It is my must have for everyday makeup. Any simple makeup looks more fresh and awake with this face mist!
